Hi, we have had an enjoyable 2 weeks in the company of Rifftide. Last Wednesday we sailed to a little beach called Hawks Nest or you may know it as King George Beach, we spent 2 nights there, . Friday we returned to Emu Bay.
Back at North Haven we left Emu Bay this morning at 8.30am and arrived back at 7.30pm,we covered 75n miles. Had a good sail reaching 7.5 knots.
John will fit the HF radio and get a few spare parts, I have found I allso need a few extra things.
We will sort all out and off again.

Kangaroo Island

Hi everyone Monday we moved to American River and picked a a mooring. Had a quite night. Tuesday morning went ashore in the dingy and met Carol (the radio weather conditions caller) who kindly gave a lift into Kingscote, to purchase a pully and a few other bits and pieces. Carol allso advised us to get a HF radio and helped organise one from Tassmania. HF now on it's way to Adelaide by sail boat.
We are going to stay aroung K.I. for the next week or so with Rifftide and then back to Adelaide to fit HF radio and fix a few other problems.
We are having a great time in the company of Rifftide, shared a few meals and a wine or two on each other's boats, had a B.B.Q at the camping grounds on Brown's beach, went to the Penneshaw pub for dinner, went to the local market and bought some local produce.
Yesterday we motor sailed to Emu Bay and anchored of the beach. Caught a few fish.
